Sugita Co., Ltd. is the only umbrella manufacturer in Japan that produces SDG umbrellas approved by the Japanese government.
The umbrellas we provide have a water pressure resistance of over 10000 mm, which protects against heavy rain, has a UV cut rate of over 99.99%, reduces the risk of skin cancer, and has a heat cut rate of over 45%, which reduces sweating by 17% reduction, making it an effective measure against heat stroke, and our intellectual property structure makes the fabric even more effective.

Product Development History
We develop products for heat protection, UV protection, heavy rain protection umbrella, and disaster prevention products, and we plan, manufacture, and wholesale products that are encouraged by various ministries and agencies of the Japanese government.

| 2017 | Our SDGs umbrella won the top prize in a contest held by the airline ANA. *As the prize owner, we received permission to use the ANA logo, a prize of 1 million yen, and business matching from ANA.

| 2019～Present | [Full-body reflective ponchos worn by evacuees during disaster prevention] were passed the exam for consecutive 5 years in the ''Bosaikokutai'' review sponsored by the Cabinet Office's disaster prevention department, on the grounds that they enable early detection and lifesaving in the event of a delay in evacuating. *This product is now available for sale as a product that has passed the Cabinet Office Disaster Prevention Examination. |

| 2021 | Our product was selected as an SDGs umbrella in the "Plastic smart campaign" sponsored by the Ministry of the Environment. |
| 2023 | Our product was elected by the Japan Foundation sponsorship [100 selections of modern Japanese designs] that Ministry of Foreign Affairs had jurisdiction over. *This is a project in which the Japanese government selects 100 products from among all Japanese products and exhibits them in 35 countries around the world over a period of more than 10 years. Our product was selected as a new form of SDGs umbrella, and became the only "Japanese government SDGs promoted product" in Japan.

| 2024 | The "Disaster Evacuation Wear: Full-Body Reflective Poncho" was recognized as a recommended product by the Osaka Prefectural Police for its potential to eliminate nighttime traffic accidents.
As a result, the "Full-Body Reflective Poncho" is recommended by the police in everyday situations and certified by the Cabinet Office for disaster prevention in emergencies, making it a viable proposal as a phase-free product. |
